Warren County Traffic Court Records
For tickets, the Clerk points users to Indiana Online Ticket Payment, or PAY. PAY handles the search for eligible traffic and infraction tickets. MyCase then shows the related public court case. Court Calendar lists a public hearing setting. Each system covers one piece of the picture. Treat them as separate tools, not a single file. The official PAY screen is the main lookup and payment route for a Warren County ticket.
A PAY result can be surprisingly detailed. It may show the police agency, the court, the case number, the charged offenses, the balance, a copy option, plea choices, deferral options, and the transaction charges.
Look Up a Warren County Ticket
PAY gives you three ways in. The strongest is the UTT number printed at the upper right of the ticket. Keep any leading zeros. A driver's-license number works as a second route. The name route asks for first and last name plus a birth date entered as MM/DD/YYYY, with the middle name optional.
| Search path | Required fields | Format note |
|---|---|---|
| Ticket | UTT number | Keep letters and leading zeros |
| License | Driver's-license number | Use the exact number |
| Name | First, last, birth date | Birth date uses MM/DD/YYYY |
When PAY comes up empty, try MyCase. Use a case number, citation number, or cross-reference number. Enter just one. If a filter helps, select Criminal and Citation and Warren County. For status, balance, or copy questions, call the Clerk at 765-762-3510. Counter and public-terminal access are available at 125 North Monroe Street, Suite 11, Williamsport. Ask before mailing or faxing any payment or copy request.
New Warren County Tickets
PAY warns that a ticket under ten business days old may not show up yet. That lag usually means processing, not a dismissal or a missing case. Double-check each digit and try another search key while the stated period runs. If the ticket still fails to appear after that, call the Warren County Clerk. You can also call the issuing agency.
A recent Warren County citation can exist before PAY displays it. Keep the paper ticket and do not infer a deadline change from an empty search.
Not every Indiana ticket can be paid online. Juvenile tickets may be payable, though PAY does not sell a juvenile ticket copy. And remember, a transaction screen is not a certified Warren County court record.
Warren County Traffic Court Date
Indiana Court Calendar lists public trial court hearings. The window runs from the prior seven days through the next four weeks. Pick Warren County. Add Warren Circuit Court when that helps. Add the date. Then narrow the results by case number or case name. Confidential, special-judge, and administrative settings may not be listed.
| Case number | Use the number tied to the citation, such as the format 86C01-YYMM-IF-##### |
|---|---|
| Hearing description | The kind of setting shown by the calendar |
| Date and time | The scheduled session, subject to change |
| Location | The listed courtroom or hearing place |
| Judge | The judicial officer when populated |
| Refresh data | An indicator of calendar update timing |
A calendar row is only a schedule. It does not prove anyone appeared. Confirm a missing, moved, or canceled Warren County setting with the court. The Warren County court calendar process explains hearing checks in more detail.
PAY and MyCase in Warren County
PAY covers ticket lookup and eligible payment. MyCase supplies the public case summary, CCS entries, and public orders. One ticket can move through several stages. It may show as processing in PAY, then a court case, then a deferral offer or a judgment. Check the date and source before comparing the two screens.
| Question | PAY | MyCase |
|---|---|---|
| Can this ticket be paid online? | Primary source | Not the payment test |
| What is the citation number? | May display it | Search key or case field |
| What has the court entered? | Limited transaction view | Read the public CCS |
| Is the copy certified? | No | No, ask the Clerk |
The Warren court's official payment page routes users among the approved payment choices.
That local route helps you avoid using the wrong state screen for a Warren County court obligation.
Pay or Contest Warren County Tickets
Paying and contesting are separate choices. For an eligible result, PAY may show plea choices, agreement text, deferral information, fee lines, and a payment button. Read every term first. If the ticket is not eligible, or if the charge will be denied, contact the court or Clerk to learn the correct hearing and filing path.
| Pay eligible ticket | Contest ticket |
|---|---|
| Review charge, balance, and transaction cost | Check the scheduled initial hearing |
| Read plea and agreement text before submitting | Follow court instructions for denial or appearance |
| Keep the receipt and verify case update | Track later settings and orders in the docket |
Warren local rule LR86-AR00-105 allows a $25 late fee under Indiana Code 33-37-5-22. Infraction fees are generally due by 3:00 p.m. when the initial hearing ends. That rule holds unless the infraction is denied. A denial shifts payment to 3:00 p.m. on the judgment date. Indigency can change the late-fee rule. So can a filed appeal.
Missing a Warren County date or payment term can have added consequences. Confirm the current setting and balance with the court.
Warren County Infraction Deferral
The Warren County deferral and diversion page says the Prosecutor offers Infraction Deferral and Pretrial Diversion. Any offer comes from the Prosecutor, not the court. A person without a lawyer may call the Prosecutor before court to ask about infraction deferral. Criminal pretrial diversion is discussed after the initial hearing unless counsel is involved. Nothing is automatic. The page is not legal advice for your case. So read the offer and conditions, confirm the case status, and follow the stated court and prosecutor steps. A PAY option can route an eligible matter. It never replaces the local agreement or a court order.
Warren County Electronic Filing Route
Traffic matters that require a filing go through Indiana's court filing rules, not the PAY transaction form. The Indiana e-filing overview sets the rules: attorneys must e-file unless an exception applies. Self-represented filers are encouraged to use the system but are not required to.
In Warren County, a Notice of Electronic Filing shows submission and service activity on a traffic matter. It is not a ruling. Filers pick from approved Indiana e-filing providers.
Ask the Clerk about which filing channel is accepted and any exceptions for conventional filing. The Clerk cannot tell you how to argue the case.
Warren Court Record and BMV Record
Warren County keeps its traffic court record and the Indiana BMV driver record apart. They are two separate files. Two offices hold them. The court case, docket, orders, judgment, and certified court copies all sit with the Clerk. BMV keeps the license history and provides its own viewable and certified versions. When set events occur, the courts send BMV the required abstracts or notices.
| Warren County court file | Indiana BMV file |
|---|---|
| Case number, CCS, hearings, orders, judgment | State license record and reported history |
| Custodian: Warren County Clerk | Custodian: Indiana BMV |
| Certified copy from the Clerk | Official driver record from BMV |
A PAY receipt or a MyCase printout is not a certified copy of either file. Ask the clerk or the BMV office for the exact record your task calls for.
Warren County Traffic Fees and Copies
PAY tacks transaction costs onto a payment or an eligible ticket-copy transaction. Not every ticket can be paid or copied online, though. For a certified judgment or case record, call the Clerk. Ask about the page count, certificate, seal, and delivery cost. The official Indiana Code portal publishes the current statutes. Those include the fee authority cited in Warren's local rule.
The current statute and court order always control. Confirm any posted fee for your specific Warren County case.
| Item | Amount or source |
|---|---|
| PAY transaction cost | Shown before an eligible transaction |
| Ordinary court copy | $1 per page statewide reference |
| Seal certificate | $1 statewide reference |
| Judgment transcript | $3 statewide reference |
| Warren late fee | $25 when the cited local rule applies |
Missing Warren County Ticket Copies
A ticket can show up in PAY while its copy option stays unavailable. Juvenile copies cannot be bought there, and other records may require the Clerk. Write down the citation, case number, ticket date, and the format you want. Then ask whether an ordinary or certified court copy fits the job. A police report stays with the issuing agency, not the Warren County Clerk. For mail or fax, confirm the fee and delivery method before sending anything. Never mail an original ticket or a time-sensitive filing without checking the accepted route. A clear request keeps the court case, the police support file, and the state license file each with the right office. That way, each lands with the right office.
Read Warren County Traffic Results
A charge is an allegation, not a judgment. A balance is only a system amount at one point in time. A hearing row shows a planned setting, not an outcome. Later CCS entries reveal a plea, deferral, continuance, order, judgment, payment, or other change. If a result affects a current court duty, confirm it with the Clerk. Keep the source and view date with any notes you take. PAY, MyCase, and Court Calendar refresh at different times. The newest screen is still not a certified record. Still, careful source tracking makes a Warren County ticket search far easier to verify.
